Why I Hate My Job

Oh, no. One of the barbie princesses white trash soap opera stars that I work with finally got fired. (They seem to think they’re barbie princesses so everyone has to kneel and kiss their asses. I will never be one of those people.)

I refer to them as “my white trash soap opera” because I get the pleasure (and it is funny, really) of listening to them discuss their lives everyday during lunch. “My baby daddy” this and “his skanky girlfriend” that. They all have a minimum of one child and one baby daddy. Two of them share a baby daddy. That’s class  right there.

City Living

I moved to the wonderful unremarkable city of Albany, NY about nine months ago. Before this I had pretty much always lived in small towns/villages. This is preferable for many reasons. Some people say that small towns are boring. They are, but they have a lot of advantages that the city doesn’t offer. And you can always live in town and drive to the city for entertainment. You cannot live in the city and get the small town pleasures.

Some things about living in the city annoy the crap out of me. Take today, for example. Tomorrow is garbage day, so everyone is dragging their trash to the curb as I type. (I was going to say as I speak, but I’m not speaking here so…)
