Probably my least favorite question that a guy will, at some point, ask is “how many guys have you had sex with?” This question is usually asked after we’ve had sex for the first time. The only people that I have answered this question with in recent past is my friend Carolyn (because I’ve known her since I was 5 and I don’t think she’d really pass judgment on me) and my husband (cause he’s stuck with me now whether he thinks I’m a slut or not).

Other than those two people, I have not answered that question since 1997. I don’t lie about the amount of guys I’ve slept with, I just explain that I won’t answer the question.

Another way that guys like to compare themselves is based upon their size relative to the other guys I’ve slept with. As such, they ask “am I the biggest you’ve ever been with.” “Yeah baby, of course you are.” Huh? It seemed like if guys really wanted to know how they measure up they could just find the info online. For these questions, I’ve come to the conclusion that guys like to be lied to. Or they have a need to have their ego stroked just a little too much.

Certain questions are better left unasked and unanswered. The only time that I will honestly answer these questions is when I’m wasted. Otherwise I will lie to save his feelings or avoid answering by explaining why I don’t deal with these questions. I don’t deal with these questions because the answers don’t matter a bit. According to me, anyway.

“Am I the best you’ve ever had” or, as a variation if the guy knows someone from your sexual past “who was better?”
