I obsess about my weight. My friends and co-workers think I’m crazy. I say I haven’t been to the gym in three weeks and they say, “oh yeah, I can tell. You’re ballooning right up, you cow. Did you gain a quarter of an ounce?” But they don’t understand. I know I have a distorted self-image, but I think I do it the right way.
I weighed myself today-124 pounds. I’m 5’6″, so I’m slightly underweight if I use the old forumla (5′ tall=100 pounds and for every inch over 5′ add 5 pounds) that was told to me in middle school to figure out how much I should weigh. I weigh 4 pounds more than I did a month ago.
I used to weigh myself everyday.
